One Night in Bangkok

We arrived in Bangkok and made it to our hotel about 3:00 am January 1 which is 2:00 pm Dec. 31 at home. To put that into perspective we left the house at 3:00 am on the 30th. That is 35 hours if you have lost count! The kids did great (so did mom and dad) considering. We were getting ready to land and were able to see New Years fireworks from the air. It was a great ending to a long ride. Happy New Year to all reading this and may God be with you in 2009!

Many hands doing their part!

On November 2 our Sunday school class sponsored a breakfast fundraiser. Around 200 people came and enjoyed delicious pancakes, sausage, fruit, and fellowship raising money for repair costs for homes in Thailand.

We are often reminded that there are many parts to the body that makes up the church. Paul talked about this in his writings and we can see it also in the work of Bethesda.
First Corinthians 12:12-13 says,"For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body"
In this venture we hope we can have the ability to communicate how many different people care and support the people of Living Water Church in Thailand.
